Having a clear self identity with product categories that make consumer sense should be the first thing a retailer seeks to achieve when deciding what to stock.nnUnfortunately Brookfield Produce & Pet don't appear to have taken that step with a hodgepodge of products stocked that both make little sense together and mean they aren't really astounding at anything.nnWhere other retailers seek out a niche that consumers can work with, here they buck that trend and attempt to do everything.nnWant some fruit and vegetables? No problem, they have a limited selection. And while you're in store, be sure to walk over a few aisles to grab a pet mouse, a chainsaw and some pond reeds.nnListen, it's a shop. It sells some things and if you had no other choice for those things it might even be a place to recommend. But with retailers close by who excel in each of these categories individually at cheaper prices, it doesn't make much sense to go to Brookfield Produce & Pet.nnIt would be much better if they streamlined what they're stocking to make best use of a particular niche.

We went to get some saved chickens from Who gives a Cluck and were impressed by the amazing range of products for pets and chooks! Really every possible type of chicken could be bought here! I liked that they were supporting the cause as well helping these chooks find a happy home!

Really nice place to get all your pet needs, helpful staff carry heavy things to your car for you, even fun for the kids to visit and see all different birds,fish etc.

Good quality produce, sunflower seed always in stocks. Good range of potting mixes
