Itoshii Japanese Restaurant

Just your average shopping center Japanese restaurant, there isnt really a standout or specialty dish here anymore...nnGood place to go to if you must satsify that sushi craving while you shop but it will be a pricey feed.nnBetter to go during peak times as they tend to have more offerings on the train, which may also be fresher as it doesnt sit on the train as long either.

I had a lovely meal. There was the small plates on the moving belt. A lot of fish, which I'm not keen on, but lover the scallops and some chicken. Well 0ifes

Food was good. However, the dining experience was disappointing .nnI order soft shell crab rolls through Uber Eat many times from Itoshii and that was how I know about this restaurant.nnAt Thursday night, after shopping we came to Itoshii. I asked a front staff if I could order a soft shell crab roll for dinning in instead of sushi train. The front staff went in to talk to someone then got back to me and told me it is ok.nnThen we sat at the bar, but the sushi maker looked upset and started to complain to her workmate in Japanese which I understand a little. Then she told me with her pretty upset voice that they usually only sell this special rolls on Fridays and Saturdays but not on Thursdays.nnBut the whole time she kept showing she is not very happy with us. So, we finished the sushi rolls quickly and left. We paid $43 for 2 sushi rolls with a bottle of Coke and an unpleasant environment.nnI asked the front staff if I could make this order before we walked in for dinner. If they could say no to us, and we would have gone somewhere better but not had this ruining dinner.

We had katsu curry and katsu Don dishes. Delicious and generous servings. Good service besides restaurant being full.
