Seamless pick up and drop off, rented the hi-top van for 12 days and it had everything we needed for a trip around Victoria. The only issue was the faucet leaked extensively where we had to call to get a plumber sent out to us which held us up for half a day on our trip. It could have been easily taken care of before the van was rented out to us. Otherwise we had no issues.

I was excited to get away for a few days but as our trip went on the experience with Britz and the van was less and less enjoyable. The van was not cleaned properly and we spent the first 3 days of our trip constantly cleaning out earwigs from the van. We even found earwigs in the bed while sleeping. The sheets were were provided had hair on them. We had one night on our trip that we had power and I was glad about that so I could make myself a quick cup of tea. I took the kettle out and the power base of the kettle was not provided. Our van also had a bad slide door that if we didn't close it hard enough it would lock us in. With dirty sheets I was glad that we decided to take our own pillow but unfortunately we forgot them in the van. We realised that we forgot our pillows while driving home and called first thing the next morning. The guy we spoke to said they had 50 vans to clean and that he would call us as soon as he got to our van. We did not hear back and so drove all the way there on the 6th of December (5 days after calling) and when we got there Britz was closed at 12:15 even though the website said they were open. I then called again today and was told there are no notes made on our booking about the lost pillows and no pillows could be found. So disappointing! If you're renting from Britz I highly suggest taking your own linen and note that they will make NO effort to help you with anything after you've returned the van.

The van itself was fantastic. However the cleaning done beforehand was below par. There was animal hair all over the back lounge seats and the kitchenette was dirty in many places. Took me close to 45mins to clean it all before we got underway. Hadn't noticed it in the rush of running through the details. I was however reimbursed for my time and that's why there are three stars.

I am very happy how they compensated us for the delayed service. We were provided with free camping chairs and tables to take with us along with vans. And the manager extended one full day free of charge. Van had some very tiny issues which can easily be ignored. The trip was very enjoyable. Thank you.

Great check in, easy & quick. Great drop off too. Loved the recycling facility. Vans in good condition, no complaints, were upgraded to a 6 berth from booked 4 berth which was great. One recommendation, a little more help to be provided when purchasing a toll pass, we were pretty much left to our own devices to sort it out. I inadvertently entered an incorrect vehicle registration number, transposing the number 1 for the letter I and as a result received several fines. These were resolved in the end but took quite a lot of time in phone calls and emails back & forth. Suggest there should be some registration validation or at least, staff at Britz to point out to double check the registration no. submitted. Another small point, we were travelling with another couple who had also rented a motorhome from Britz and although they were collected at exactly the same time, the GPS data was not completely aligned. They often got different instructions to us even though we double checked the destination address before setting off.
