The Groove Train

We've only been here once but really enjoyed it. They had some great specials, food came out quick and was super tasty. Great menu too! Would definitely recommend giving it a go. Looking forward to going back myself... oh and the desserts looked AMAZING

My son and I returned for the second time to have lunch. My sister joined us for her first experience of The Groove Train food and hospitality. The two young wait staff who looked after us were very friendly and our food was delicious. It was delivered with only a short wait time. The two young ladies who looked after our table regularly checked to see were were happy with our meal and brought our extra offers quickly. They are a definite asset to the restaurant. We shall be returning!!

We went to Groove Train for dinner and the decor is very funky. The menu itself has plenty of options and the concern we had is that it could be hit and miss given the size of the menu. I ordered the Moroccan lamb, my wife ordered the gnocchi and my daughter had a side serve of chips with tomato sauce.nnWhen the food arrived we had no reason to fear about the quality of our food. My Moroccan lamb was tender and full of flavour. My wife’s gnocchi was rich and again full of flavour. Serving sizes were large, prices reasonable and service friendly.nnWe’ve had dinner at Groove Train twice and both times their food has been top notch even though we’ve ordered different food items.nnWould happily visit again and try something different.

This place has been so under rated. I wonder why there are not more people there. Such a quiet treasure tucked away and I can't understand why i did not go there before. Had their cake and coffee special. Usually for the reduced price, you may get quality or quantity. Here it was the real deal. Quality and quantity were a match made in heaven. The Toblerone cake was to die for . And the massive size. Beyond expectations. The orange and almond cake was smothered in almonds. Layered in and not too sweet . Usually they say when you are hungry, everything tastes good. Well I was not hungry, just wanted a coffee but when I saw the cakes on display, I was very taken up . Service was exceptional. Always checking to see if we need anything.

Atmosphere felt inviting; not plain or in your face. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and fair prices. Great work Groove Train ud83dudc4d
