It is not often that you meet someone who after 35 years is still so passionate about what they do but Giuseppe is an exception. The food is classic, timeless, and produced by someone who is a master of his art. You know that the head chef has nothing to worry about when he personally delivers you your plate, everything has been done to perfection. Our meal was simply impecable, every dish cooked so the texture, flavour, and the seasoning left no room for improvement. Added to that was the genuine kind, friendly and professional service from the wait staff. It is rare to have such a perfect meal, but I cannot speak more highly of our experience it was simply faultless.

Pretentious, rude and disrespectful. This might be forgivable if the food was good but it’s not as good as they think it is. Pasta dish was OK but the meat was over cooked and dry. I was ignored for several minutes at the entry then scolded by the lady. The chef also talks for long time but he try to be friendly.nnThe food menu might have worked 30 years ago but times have changed don’t understand how people give this good reviews. Not very interesting. Usually it is a lunch place for rich business man who has too much money and no taste. I have been to best Italian restaurants in Italy and they never treat customer like this.

Went Thursday evening with a long time friend after recommendations from others. Great food, wine, atmosphere, table arrangement, waiter and a friendly, proud Italian chef Baccala on thin bread was a starter. Had seasoned sliced octopus in a fish sauce,; eaten with homemade bread (several types). Had a sumptuous, thick grilled and seasoned T-bone steak with finely cut salad. A very good red wine was appreciated. Finished with a short black coffee and almond bread. The chef offered grappa with my coffee.

To the older lady who seems to manage this restaurant. You are by far the worst worker i have come across in my fifteen years working in hospitality. You are not a professional, hearing you speak sh#t to customers and staff made me disgusted. I hope you reconsider your profession as you are cr@p at this.
