Shimizu Cafe Restaurant

Waited an hour for 2 takeway ramens, how long does it take to package some noodles and broth? They seemed so confused, the waitresses knew I had been sitting there for that long and never once came and apologised for the delay or told the chef to hurry up. When I finally got up and complained the old asian lady was so rude, did not even say sorry or offer a discount, I had to be the one to ask. All this and there were only 6 customers in the whole restaurant. VERY BAD AND APPALLING SERVICE.

Very bad, absurd old Asian woman who is working at the front counter; giving very bad customer service, and very prejudicial towards her own Asian like people; even though it is a Japanese restaurant. She shy away, not listen to others, and if listening or calling her she gets angry at the back. I guess this type is not her kind of job; shall rather employ someone younger, active and optimistic. The way, she also reacts when giving takeaway orders for drivers is also a jealousy look on her, and a shameful deed as she gives bad feedback or thumbs down on those drivers she hate and disgust. A bad way of doing business, of any sort.

I had the Complete Bento box which was excellent. Lots of variety and needed a good walk around the block afterwards.nThe setting is simple, clean and not on top of each other. It's not licensed so BYO (a sign at the front would be good ;). All in all, I'll definitely go back.
