They need more staff. Service was slow. The staff that was there were helpful and competent but just overworked.nnYou are in the heart of the CBD and should plan appropriately. Don't skimp on service on the account of saving a few bucks.ncome in for lunch for fast

Food was great, we enjoyed it. But the service was bad. As soon as you entered the place, you were greet by grumpy staffs, no smiles. It made me feel they didn't want us to be there. Its a shame because food was great but not the customer service.

No wonder why the restaurant is empty.nnI am not used to writing a negative review because I know how difficult is to run a business.nIn this case, I need to say that location is amazing, close to Central station but other than that I couldn't find many positive things.nnWe were looking forward to having a Chinese dinner. When we entered the restaurant it was empty even if many other places were fully booked in the same street. No music whatsoever. Waiters sitting together in a table near the kitchen, talking to each other, not bothering much greeting us.nnWe ordered our meal and we had been told that they don't have tap water, they only serve bottled water. Which I am not sure if can be legal for a licensed venue.nWhen it arrived the food was just ok. Nothing special. Not tasty.nWe had to ask 3 times for soy sauce before they gave us.nEven if the restaurant was empty nobody came and check on us, which is honestly not a big deal but is part of the hospitality.nWe paid and left unhappy.

My Wife And I Went To Canton Bay Again. This Has Got To Be One Of My Favorite Places. I Had The Salt & Pepper Chilli Squid & The Boxing Chicken Wings. My Wife Had The Pork Buns And The Vegetarian Spring Rolls. We Also Got The Soft Shell Crab & Squid As A Takeaway So My Kids Can Try It. Awesome Food And Awesome Service. Thanks Canton Bay. Worst dim sum we had, it totally ruined the brand. We ordered porridge, old, guarantee not cooked on the day; pork and prawn dumplings, skin is very thick, very small portion meat inside and can't find and taste any prawns; salted egg York bun, the worst, tastes off, sour instead of sweet. Luckily we stopped ordering, otherwise we don't know how much money we will waste there.nThe off food made us vomit and sick. Just a reminder to other dinners to be careful about their off food.
