For such a small venue, there is an impressive collection of consoles. I came here with my primary school aged son and we had an absolute blast playing video games. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere and a great father son bonding experience. Highly recommended!
Staff were really friendly and informative. When we went it was 'Pokemon' week so they had Pokemon music playing in the background, and Pokemon games set up etc. You can also request to change games if you are not into the theme of the week or just want to play something else. It was really fun. I also appreciated the accessibility of antibac wipes and hand sanitizer available around the place.
Awesome setup and helpful staff. They organised a fun bucks party on a Saturday night. Would definitely recommend!
New owner Dave has done a fantastic job at expanding Nostalgia box into a bigger museum and more choices for games. Giving Timezone a run for their money. Awesome customer service too, really passionate about his team, customers and venue. Looking forward to see where he will take it further!
I took my son and a group of his friends here for part of his 11th birthday party activities. He honestly wasn't that enthusiastic about playing old computer games, when compared with the modern consoles, gaming software and amazing graphics. I suspected it was more for us oldies to reminisce about the good old days and play games that we grew up on. Turns out this was true to a point as I had a blast, playing Street Fighter, Mortal Combat, Mario Cart, but the kids had an obsolute ball too. I can't come close to beating my son at Apex Legends, Fortnite or Call of Duty, but he and all of his friends couldn't beat me at Street Fighter. Left him speechless that his Dad could beat him at a computer game. It was 'epic' and the 'best day ever' he said. Very enjoyable on many levels.
