Wharf Restaurant

We arrived peak dinner time on Friday without a reservation and yet was offered an high outside table. As it’s June the weather was perfect to be outside, no complaints. We were shown to the table, provided menus and instructed on how to order at the bar for all our food and drinks etc.nThe place was buzzing and the atmosphere felt great.nOur food arrived promptly, shared starter of crab spring rolls: really yum. Then main we both had the Seafood Coconut Curry. At just under $45 for the curry it was a bit pricey but so so good.nIt had a couple big juicy prawns, 3/4 mussels, heaps of calamari and a big bit of crab (which you couldn’t eat much of but it had a great feel to it.nAs soon as we finished our food our plates were cleared quickly and we were checked in on during our meals. Other than this the service was minimal but that was expected as it was explained at the start.nWould visit again for the food.

Very expensive for not having table service. We were put at a table with no breeze, so we were all sweating trying to eat our hot meals then had to line up at bar to order then carry own drinks back.nFood was nice but definitely not worth the cost. No dessert menus offered and only had service when waiters quickly dumped food then took away plates.nDo not recommend

Nice meals. Pretty expensive for what they are.nnThe Asian Wok Noodles were delicious but there needed to be more noodles and about one tenth of the amount of capsicum and onion in it.nnTrying to go for a fine dining feel but customer service isn’t a virtue. If your going to charge those prices, full table service should be included.

Really good overall! I know people are saying this place sucks but I enjoyed it! The staff were so nice and quick to hand us our food and were so pleasant when doing so. Enjoyed all the sides and the interior was stunning. The potted plant theme really went well!nDefinitely recommended in my book ud83eudd17

Food was grossly over priced. No table service especially for that price is ridiculous. $38 for a large fish and chips but it looked like a small.nnCurry order came out with wrong protein, they fixed it straight away but the chicken did not taste like chicken. Tasted very rubbery and hard so not sure what happened there.nnThe seafood curry came out which had heaps of different types of seafood in it. There was some crab in it however no crab cracking device or finger bowl was provided. We had to ask a couple of staff members for it. Other than that flavour was good.
