Hooks Sea & Salad Bar

Haven't had good old fish n chips for years tonight we tried. Have to say disappointed..fish is not snapper and the chips are stale. It's hot which was a plus and the service on phone and counter great . But won't try it again. :-(

The quality of Fish and Chips at Hooks is exceptional. The fish was snow white, thick and very tasty. The batter was light and crunchy without the oil content that i have experienced from other local stores. The chips were cooked to perfection and with my usual light dousing of salt and vinegar the taste was delightful. I must admit they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for and the quality at Hooks Fish and Chips is well worth it.

never went there today so how come it come up on my map for driving. i dont like the fush chips there no good use tl be but not moe

Great fish and chips.nNo oily paper, fish was cooked to perfection, batter wasn't thick. Chips were slightly over cooked as my partner and I prefer.nCouldn't really fault it we loved it.nDid not have to wait long to be ready either.

Paid $7 for a beef sausage, $11.50 on a piece of gummy shark and small portion of chips amounting $21, i was expecting good things for charging an arm and a leg. Recieved a greasy fat chunk riddled sausage, a piece of gummy that was just over the size of my palm and under cooked chips. Wouldn't reccomend and will not be back
