Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre

Meet up point for a walk. Didn't visit the centre or cafe today

Great place to go for walk but dogs are not allowed.

Ordered a picnic basket at the cafe@ the discovery centre. Not bad for what it cost, I believe it was $50 A huge salad with radish and pumpkin. Smoke chicken with grill lemon. By the time we arrive to pick up the picnic basket, it was pouring rain and they allow us to eat the food in their function room instead. Very thoughtful of them. The reservoir is beautiful to look at. Surely I will bring my paddle board here next time.

It was great! Fun day out for the whole family. With lots to explore and do with many walking and bike trails to discover. Beautiful scenery and well maintained grounds to pic - nic on or simply sit and relax with friends. Cafe and Facilities also available. We will happily re - visit!

Close enough to leave the city and experience beauty of the forest and wildlife in an hour. Friendly staff in the cafe and centre makes for very pleasant excursion.
