Mark redesigned my pearl ring and I absolutely love it. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about his work. I am an older customer and he designed the ring to suite my needs. I came to Mark and Ros with a brief of what I wanted to have made as an engagement ring. They were amazing - we sat down for sketching sessions, creating an artwork far more beautiful than I had envisaged, followed up by accurate 3d computer renders of the design, and then delivery of the ring. The whole process inspired confidence, and I knew precisely what I was getting. Together we created the perfect custom engagement ring for wife. I couldn't be happier - nor could she! I could not recommend them more highly.

Mark and his wife went so far beyond the extra mile for me actually coming down to Canberra for me straight after a recent hip operation. A beautiful ring, genuinely unique. I did a lot of research at competing jewelers and the price was very reasonable. I may have been the customer from hell with my questions but mark was able to answer all my questions about white gold composition (They use a high quality palladium alloy so no allergies), a range of available diamonds as well as about 5 different CAD renderings for different design nuances. Its a shame about the other google reviews. As I understand they are all from one person who still wasn't happy even after they offered to remake the ring for free. Very positive experience from me and I'd hate for a good thing to be ruined by one bad customer experience. Thanks again and can't wait to come back for the wedding ring!

Mark and Roswyn spent a great deal of time designing my partners engagement ring, and Helping me find the right diamond. (I had no idea it was so confusing and complicated) The quality of both my wife's engagement ring and both our wedding rings is first class, and I would highly recommend their services.

I still think regularly about my disappointing experience at Lawrence Sanders. Other than getting my diamond stolen, I couldn't think of how what is supposed to be a special experience could have turned out worse!nnI first went to speak to Lawrence about getting a ring made using a diamond I supplied, Lawrence was respectfully critical of the diamond i'd bought. 1.5ct, F colour, but bright and well cut. We discussed options and agreed on a price and plan. He suggested I send my partner in to have her finger sized properly. My partner visited the shop several days later to meet Lawrence's wife and get her finger measured. My partner was met with a haughty lecture by Lawrence's wife about the poor quality of the stone I'd chosen and how we should have bought the stone through them! Obviously my partner had not seen the stone at that point and was totally deflated and disappointed by her interaction.nnThat alone should have been a sign to pull the pin but I loyally persisted as I had confidence Lawrence would build me a nice ring.nn2. On Lawrence's advice, I sold my 'poor quality' diamond and got a nicer 2.2ct D colour stone that was very slightly included. We completed the transaction and built a ring to my specification. What was built was something with very poor attention to detail and finishing: The halo (using diamonds supplied by Sanders) was uneven and feels very frail. The quality of workmanship was very low.nnThe comments we receive from third parties are in admiration of the 2.2ct stone (not purchased from Sanders) but even to an untrained eye, the quality of the ring gets attention as looking cheap and shoddy.nnThis was a really poor experience for what is supposed to be something exciting and cherished for both the man and woman. The quality of the ring he made was terrible and I'll get it completely remade when I find the right jeweller to do the job. Lawrence's wife was pretty awful and obviously very tactless and indiscreet.nnPlenty of other options in Sydney. Use Sanders at your peril.
