The Lush Lily

I got married on Saturday and went in to get a last minute bouquet as it wasn’t to important to me. They asked how much I was happy to spend and I said $100 they said come back in 20 minutes. So we went and got a few last minute things and then came back and it was all ready to go and they had put water in the bottom and sprayed it all so it would last. I apologized for being last minute as I know that is probably really annoying and both women behind the counter were amazing. I just read a review below that kind of has the same story as mine and I think the key difference would be kindness.

I am absolutely dishusted in an experience shared by my cousin at The Lush Lily. As the bride of a wedding 24 hours away, she needed last-minute flowers in which she was quoted $25 a bunch when she called the store. She was then charged double the price by an extremely rude cashier - who rolled her eyes and held no respect - and her colleague who took 2 stems from the bouquet and treated the flowers poorly as they went to be wrapped. Not only are the workers unnecessarily rude and unfit to work with customers, their products are ridiculously overpriced. To conclude, I highly recommend not purchasing from this store.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mum and the flowers were beautiful. My mum was so pleased. The staff were great, good communication. I will definitely use Lush Lily again. I am a florist in Victoria and I was so pleased with the service. Thank you

Usually i use a florist close to my work,but this time i thought i would "shop local". The lady who i placed the order with on the Wednesday before mothers day seemed abit rude and implied that the flowers i was looking at were out of my budget,could have possibly been my old trackies and hoodie i was wearing gave her the feel i had a "budget" To the point i told her price doesn't matter i dont have a budget..... Anyway order placed,3 white roses 3 pink roses and a heap or other flowers around them,($110)both roses number and colour having a special meaning for my partner for whom they were for. Mothers day-im there to pick up my bunch,i notice that i have 4 white roses that had beautiful brown features on them and 2 yellow.......i walked back and asked the man if my order had written down that it should be white and pink,he checked with the florist who answered they were short so they substituted them..... Fair enough gobal pandemic,short stocks,short supply,mothers day....why have my phone number and not notify me of a change to my order? Had i had a call asking if that was ok,i would of cancelled because the point of the flowers was they had a meaning for the special day. To the mans credit he did offer to throw in another rose to smooth it over-i did take it-but was still left heart broken. Overall a bitter experience
