Brisbane City Council Library Services

There is a "quiet area" where you are supposed to be able to work in peace and quiet but there are often people there sharing tables and having conversations which means it isn't quiet at all! There needs to be better signage and policing of this area because there are plenty of other places in the library for these people to sit.

Location is superb and you can read variety selection of books and overlooking the river or city view when your eyes get tired.. Plenty of events happening and can also watch movies there or playing video games 2 things that definitely need significant improvements are the small and filthy toilet which inadequate for such a big public library and also the WiFi which people highly these days

Beautiful library. Staff all super helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Found everything we were looking for.

I visited the library for the first time today. I only stayed for a few minutes as I was testing the WiFi speed. It is too slow at only 4 Mbps. I noticed the security guard following me as soon as I walked into the library (picture attached). I don’t like being followed by security guards anywhere so I won’t be back. Zero stars for library user experience. One star for WiFi speed.
