The Moggill Barn Produce and Hardware

We go there fairly regularly for Saw Dust and Chicken bedding. To my surprise it looks like they have shut down as it was all gone and closed up on Saturday. Shame.

Very disappointed with the attitude of a staff over the phone. I rang them wanting some info about chickens. As soon as the staff heard my thick accent (might be too thick for her!), she said are you trying to sell something to me and I am not interested! Then she hang up on me. I rang back straight away, tried to speak as clear as I can, told her what I meant to say and I was not trying to sell her anything. She told me they do not have that service and hang up on my straight away again! They are not getting my business for sure!nnAdd itnnAfter I read the reply. I think I see why I was treated so rudely over the phone.nnIt is sad that your staff did not tell the truth, and blamed the phone connection and the rainy weather.nnTo start with, to be able to get her to stay in the phone the second time, I had to explain first that I live locally! I had to explain that our broody hen hatched this young boy. I ask “if you take roosters for free.” I was not being rude at all. There was no need for me to be rude, is not like I am selling them something. If they do not provide the service I can always ring around and ask other produce places.nnIf this is how you run business, while that is your business!nnPlus love this rain!
