Cambridge Medical Practice

I attended this practice with what has now been discovered as psoriasis. Dr Monica treated myself, when discussing my condition and concerns with Dr Monica she was in every instance dismissive. She then went to tell me I had an STI that looks quite similar to psoriasis, I advised her this was not possible. She didn’t believe me and on pure culture bias sent me to get an STI test, once completed the Dr who had written in to follow up with me didn’t call. I called the practice and the receptionist was confused advising that I had not booked a telephone conference with the Dr. Then when speaking with the Dr who had my test results she asked me why I had called. Very unprofessional practice if you’re looking for a good bulk bill doctor do not go there.

Terrible practice of 5min sessions, so they can cash in on multiple bulk bill appointments. I tried to go in for one thing and remembered I also needed a script, was told to make another appointment. Fine if you only need scripts filled and not genuine medical advice.

Very poor patient care. The doctor kept talking over me, cutting me off and totally not listening. I've never experience that in my life. If you want to see a doctor that listens and you can discuss things with, don't go here. Just seems like a bulkbilling factory that wants 'customers' in and out.

He's a fantastic doctor who definitely cares about his patients. He thinks outside the box to solve problems that many GPS wouldn't even attempt.

Terrible Terrible practice! As a 21 year old female I was not taken seriously. One male doctor did not believe me when I stated that I have had a tight chest and a bad cough for 2/3 weeks. He conducted a spirometry test after I suggested it to test for asthma. His words were "your spirometry test is normal, no issues here. Your chest is clear" -after holding the stethoscope to me chest for 1.5 seconds. He prescribed me antibiotics (NOT NEEDED) and said that if my cough did not go away I A FEW MORE WEEKS then I should come back. Finally got a second opinion and I was diagnosed with asthma ON THE SPOT at another practice! You don't need to be a qualified GP to listen to your patients! Also they love to overcharge for everything!
