Infinity times better than kamp wawanakwa. Not saying much tho. Helped me with my mental psyche after Charlie malded.

Visited Dr.Daniels in the afternoon. The consultation took 5 minutes and I couldn’t help but feel that I wasn’t given a proper explanation about my diagnosis. He couldn’t wait to end the discussion and told me to follow up in 6 months time. For a $350 appointment, I would have expected a little more care and effort from Dr.Daniels.

Bit of a sausage factory & reception staff arrogant and unfriendly. They don't like explaining much unless you make a surgery booking date. I made a date and later cancelled this after reception staff not providing any info. Had my cataract surgery done by brilliant Dr Chen at Lions Eye Institute.

Came to see Dr Daniels on occasions to renew my pilots licence. On one visit he recommended that I should have a pterygium removed and both cataracts fixed. All completed with a minimum of fuss and very professionally in two operations. Brilliant result. Now the eye sight of a 20 year old-now working on the 70+ body!

After double lens replacement I now have perfect vision for the first time in my life (I am 59). My vision (never good with a distance prescription of -6) deteriorated rapidly over the last couple of years due to cataracts. I was recommended to Dru by my optician. Dru's practice is incredibly efficient, perhaps with something of a production line approach as the average consultation lasting only a few minutes, however I never felt rushed and Dru was ready to answer all my questions and proposed surgery appropriate to my own circumstances. I had done considerable research into the lens options available to me so I probably understood the procedure relatively well before attending the practice. The surgery itself was painless, although I did experience considerable discomfort for the initial 24 hours following surgery, but even with my bloodshot and streaming eyes I could immediately tell that my vision was significantly improved, and the discomfort soon passed. I feel that I have received state-of-the-art tri-focal lenses that allow great distance, intermediate and near vision. Update 2 years on. There are still moments when I am amazed by the clarity of my vision. My distance vision is 100% perfect and my trifocal lenses mean I no longer wear glasses at all. I occasionally need additional light to read a menu in a dimly lit restaurant or where text contrast is poor but my phone torch resolves this without any need for reading glasses. If you have cataracts, especially if you are also shortsighted, do discuss your needs with Dru or a similar consultant.
