DR Francis Chai

Went to see Dr Chai regardless of some bad reviews, thought he was a very good specialist and a nice guy. The reception staff were also lovely.

Went to see him for a Chronic diseased Maxillary Sinus. Great doctor, approachable, easy to talk to. Explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. Surgery was booked immediately however ther charges were going to be extremely high with little rebate. I have cancelled the surgery and will ask my GP for another referral to someone who operates in a public hospital.

My partner had surgery for a twisted septum. It is still twisted...

Dr. Chai is warm and approachable, but I was not very satisfied with his diagnosis. My 3yo had some fluid in her ear due a recent severe cold, the first time she had this problem since birth. The first diagnosis he gave was that she needed grommets ASAP!! We had a feeling that he was rather eager to hand out the surgery details immediately. My daughter recovered in next 10 days without much intervention, much like our GP had suggested. For a change, I am glad I did not listen to the ENT specialist.

Went to see Dr Chai for a throat problem. I found him to be very warm & friendly. He was very efficient in his examination and the scope he put through my nose did not bother me at all. - He's a nice Guy
