Wondered why the restaurant dining area was booked out of a Wednesday night when our restrictions were easing, and after our meal there tonight now we know! A decent sized dinner plate with a really enjoyable meal. Friendly staff with a nice country pub feel... We will return, thank you !👍

Nice pub, good pool table. Friendly staff and a juke box. Really nice beergarden. No cider on tap but a nice range of beer. Will have to try the food next time. Free self contained RV camp across the road and caravan park even closer. Nice country town with great history and good information signs to read.

Only pub in town. Good pub food a bit pricey but you have to take into consideration the price of freight. Staff are great when you get to now them and the publican Helen is always helpful and busy

Great atmosphere, always served by friendly staff and the meals are delicious. Thoroughly enjoy going here. Definitely the place to go for a lovely time.

Typical northern country pub. Great old building haphazardly "modernised" in about 1968, dark, gloomy interior, pressed tin ceiling in pretty good condition. Ugly "modern" motel units out the back with old rattler air cons. Very clean units, bar fridge, kettle. Serve yourself breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, white bread toast, instant coffee and tea bags included in room cost. Price of room at higher end of scale at $150 for 2 beds and en suite. Dinner served between 5 and 7pm ranging from around $28 for chicken parmi to around $48 for a huge steak with chips (great) and a mixed salad (old fashioned Australian salad -- iceberg, orange slice and beetroot with packaged Heinz dressing). The people were great, nice atmosphere, decent wine available. Will stay there again. R
