The Gingin Hotel

Great gourmet steak burger, and the bar staff are excellent.

What the hell happened to this place? It used to be lovely, busy and have great food. Now the new owners have let it go. Friday 10th July 2020. The female publican couldn’t raise a smile. Only about 6 things on the menu. My steak was cold, as was my friends and it had been bashed with a mallet. My daughters lemonade came out as sofa water. It was freezing cold but they wouldn’t put the fire on even though we asked. I used to live in Gingin but I hadn’t been back to the hotel in years. It had no ambience and the dining area was cold and unfriendly. Apparently they also own a cafe in the Gingin park and all their energy has gone into that. Bye Gingin Hotel. We will NEVER BE BACK. 😥

Excellent service, good food and prices

The pub was quiet and we still waited 3/4 of an hour for lunch, I would have been embarrassed to serve the lasagna I ordered. It was microwaved so long it was almost like soup on my plate, (I was reassured it would still taste great) but then must have sat while my husband’s steak was cooked as mine was barely warm when it was served. I mainly ate my hubby’s chips. The lady next to us took her Parmi back to be reheated which took forever and she gave up and left. Two guys walked in and ordered and had their meals within 15 minutes.

Im sorry to say not a good experience . Luke warm food, overcooked chipsand a slimy inedible salad. We wont be returning
