Hancookwan Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant

I’m not sure why people have posted negative reviews? We have always had a positive experience. We are regulars at this restaurant and never once were staff rude to us! Being half Korean this is one of my favourite Korean restaurants which offers a good variety of meats, seafood, soups, side dishes and desserts. It is also one of the cheapest ‘all you can eat’ restaurants in Perth. I have personally spoken to the owner who is so hard working, friendly and welcoming! We will continue to keep coming back to this restaurant.

This is a cheap restaurant. When you got inside, no one can feel like to be welcomed. When you left they don’t care because your bill was paid before you sat down. Honestly this is defiantly not a enjoying environment. Food tasting is quite like Korean supermarket frozen food level. Costco BBQ beef slice tastes even better. You get what you pay. Everything here makes you understand what is CHEAP means. 4 adult and 2 kids spent $190. First time and also last time.

I went there today for my birthday due to a good experience from a while ago! But was so disappointed by the service from the owner tonight! She was rude and show no patience with her customer (myself) she demanded to know number of people straight away and gave options to pay straight away or later then demanded money straight away! Was not one bit apologetic for her actions and tone and rudeness! She was flustered by the crowd and couldn’t care less whether we stayed or go! The only reason why we stayed and ate was due to getting late and I didn’t wana ruin my birthday night and spoil it for my family! I work in customer service I get it when it’s busy and your exhausted and tired but you don’t treat your customers that’s way! You treat them with respect , courteous and professionalism which she had none of them and if it wasn’t for her customers she wouldn’t have a business! I’m not one to give reviews but this was beyond disappointing! Also we saw a hair/fur in our food!

It was our first time going to this restaurant and it was for a special occasion. The food was nice but the manager was so rude. We did not know that you are not allowed to bring your own drinks since it was our first time. The manager walked to our table and rudely told us in a yelling way that we cannot bring drinks from outside while she was taking our drinks away. We told her that we would just pay to get our drinks back in a polite way but she started yelling telling us to respect our policy or get out. She could've told us in a nice way but she was strait up yelling at us. This destroyed our entire mood and made us leave early. The other staff was nice but the manager was incredibly rude. I would leave zero stars if I could will never be coming back to this place ever again.

A busy hive of customers. Enough room to get the job of cooking your own food in front of you done.nnReally well set out and great selection. Cost wise mid to high range with a drink around $40 per head but it’s all you can eat! Not sure if there’s a cheaper charge for kids ?nWarning ⚠ufe0f don’t be greedy if you can’t eat all you take there is a surcharge of $5 per 100grams.nGreat selection of seafood , chicken, meats and other ready prepped food such as fried rice , noodles, salad , and soups ..ncoffee tea desserts and fresh fruit too .nnOnly thing is you can feel the pressure to move on fast if you are in the first sitting . As dinner sittings are in 2 time slots .nnAll and all a great experience.nDrinks are not included in the price .nnWould love to take my large family but your looking at close to $300 for a family of 7
