The Esplanade Hotel in the heart of Fremantle is a graceful beautiful building from the outside but from the moment you enter the doors I'm afraid the expectations end there.
The room we stayed in was devoid of any inviting features, a shower head over a bath in 2020 just summed up the experience & the outdoor pool area is in serious need of renovation.

Should be up there with the great hotels of the world, sadly it is not.
The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Room service food is good if you don't want to leave the room. The only negative I found was that you could hear people walking and talking in the hallway outside the room, but this stopped after 10 pm. Overall a great place in a great location.
Went there for a Christmas lunch, 320 of us and it a excellent experience. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well set out facilities. Would recommend it to anyone. Well done.

We enjoy this hotel for just a stop on for a drink to staying when they have good promotions, which they do!
The staff are very accommodating, the hotel is clean and the food is good ... they're very good at their desserts!
During a recent stay we had included a drink from the bar and a share platter which we enjoyed.
