Newcastle Gaol Museum

This place was run by lovely volunteers who were informative and fun. They really cared about making sure the kids got a fun educational experience. It had some great artefacts and I loved learning about Moondyne Jones. Highly recommend going here and great price too. Kids got to do a treasure hunt and got an activity pack at the end. :-)

Absoulutly worth the visit ... the court room is a wealth of local history.... they have done a wonderful job restoring and presenting their history... a fete to be very proud of ... thank you 😀

Very interesting and worth a visit. Only a few dollars to get in and the gentleman on the door was very helpful and knowledgeable
