Needs a smile to break the ice :)nnHectors has such potential, it is located on the wharf of the old port of Goolwa, the best historic town in Australia, it has prime real estate and enjoys very little competition, therein lies its Achilles heel i believennThe staff that greet you normally are quite straight faced and need to smile more upon greeting, can be a little standoffishnnThe coffee is hit and miss, one time is great, next time is rubbishnnThe food is normally quite good, but very small and way overpricednnI would love to see Hectors go back to bigger sized meals, more seafood, less horty torty and much better value for moneynnwith the location its a sure winner

Relatively expensive, average food, slow service. We sat down at 12, waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and were then told ‘ you need to be gone by 1’. Nice. One waitress then took it on herself to give me a lecture on my choice of make up. Wow. Owner is a nice guy though.
