The hotel is in a good location but is tired on the inside. It appears to be an older building that has had a renovation to get it looking semi modern. Most disappointing, however, was the customer service. We were asked to check-in later as they weren't sure they'd be able to make our room up by our nominated check-in time. When we got there, we asked for a later check out to account for this and were flatly refused unless we paid an extra $20. As we were checking in we witnessed the staff dealing with another guest who had come back down from their room to complain as their room hadn't been cleaned since the previous guest. We also were on the receiving end of a sloppy mistake, being charged $35 to my credit card for use of the minibar (which we didn't touch). I called to get this fixed (noting that of the 3 options available when you call, only the first one works - option 1 for new bookings, options 2 (existing bookings) and 3 (Accounts) just ring out). They said it was an 'honest mistake' and would refund it, but this does not justify charging a card without informing the guest or providing an invoice for the amount charged. Poor management, not impressed. Won't be staying again.

Our stay was amazing. The service can't be any better. Would highly recommend both their beautiful clean rooms and the amazing service we received. Thank you so much for your fantastic service. Your staff are such a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

The hotel is nice with a great Thai restaurant downstairs. It’s easy walking distance to cafe and restaurants on Rundle or the Parklands across from east terrace. I would not book the spa room again though - it was almost twice the price of the standard rooms and you’re literally just paying for the tub which also has an overhead shower which gets water over the bathroom. The other rooms would be better value for money especially compared to what you could get at the Mayfair or Oval Hotel for the price of the spa room
