A dated little hotel on the end of one-time cosmopolitan Melbourne Street. Although there have been some improvements since my last stay, this hotel has clearly seen better days. Partially refurbished rooms feature a new bedroom setting with a circa 1980s credenza! The bathroom was also quite dated, and whilst there was a swimming pool in the car park, the fence was quite rusty and the spa was empty. Overall, I’d only stay here again if the price was extremely competitive, like it was on this occasion.
Used my great state voucher for a night away here, the only charge was $1 which they donate to Ronald McDonald House ..I didn't have cash on me so they told me not to worry about it, but for a free night essentially I needed to give something so I made a donation to RMH online separately.
Room was lovely, had everything I needed, loved that there was a sofa and small dining table too. The bathroom is a bit outdated but wasn't spending my time in there!
Easy check in and check out. I just wish the restaurant was open for guests at night even if it was limited service.
Very large, very clean room, very comfortable king size bed and three seater sofa.
Balcony was clean and over looked Melbourne St.
Bathroom included a deep, full size bath.
Excellent Value for money!
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place to anyone!
Clean, spacious room. Balcony, couch and small table for 2. Friendly staff. Good security with car park locked at night. Unheated pool so too cold for swimming in November.
Fantastic experience with the Adelaide Meridien. Staff were very responsive and helpful, and facilities were clean and comfortable. Good value too. A great option for a trip to Adelaide.
