Town of Cottesloe

The Civic Centre is a treasure, the gardener deserves a raise. (This is a review of the grounds not the council itself)

After loosing my keys on the beach and informing their rangers/parking inspector on the unfortunate circumstance, the town of cottesloe still fined me $100 for parking too long and enforced it by asking for evidence. I did not have my phone on me so I had no form of evidence to use and was forced to pay the fine. So first hand advice to those who haven't been, be sure that when your items are missing or in the process of being stolen, to take a picture or video of it happening while your either out for a swim or sitting on the beach. Also be sure when you confront the rangers to inform them whats happening, to record your meeting with them, as this proof along with the other evidence collected may help with your appeal (assuming that its not your phone or camera you have lost). With these events, It clearly shows that the councils value for empathy and understanding for unforeseen circumstances on its visitors, are far less valuable than potential losses with revenue in parking infringements and fines. #Perspective

Nice and historic town building. The park is Suitable for picnics and had a nice view to the Indian Ocean. Playground as well.

Awful customer service, which is a shame since the beach is beautiful.
