O'Reilly's Mountain Cafe and Gift Shop

Went for a day trip and decided to have lunch there. Wow - it was so tasty. Both my brother and I had the Slow Cooked Brisket Burger - and it was such a stand out dish that we complemented the Chef directly - Mum and Dad had the Lamb Stew and is was equally amazing. The staff were just the right mix of friendly / professional. Can't wait to come back.nn***** Top Tip ******nnThe rainforest walk and tree top walkway is incredible and all completely free to do. A gift from our very thoughtful children, our three days at O'Reilly's were glorious. The panoramic view from our balcony was as spectacular as it was ever-changing and the accommodations were spacious but cozy. The food, in both the bar and the dining hall, was exceptional, considering we were at the top of a mountain! And ever-present O'Reilly clan certainly goes out of their way to ensure you are are made to feel at home there. Add to that the Lammington National Park scenery, hiking, the programs [do not miss the Glow Worm night trip] and the unique plants and birds found there, and you will have a trip to remember - especially the drive!

Despite going here on Anzac Day and they were packed with visitors I mean, line was out through the gift shop to order food. The line was fast moving, staff are really friendly, tables were quickly cleaned and food came out fast and hot. Quality remained at high standards. 10/10 would recommend eating at the cafe any time you visit. The chicken burger it very filling and they are well priced for the serving sizes!

The wine experts gave their time to help me find a gift for a 21st birthday. They absolutely nailed it. Talented and knowledgeable! From Byron Bay cookies to home grown local Jams... this place had everything and super reasonably priced! Will come again!
