Secure Parking - Cathedral Square Car Park

NO WONDER THIS CAR PARK WAS EMPTY. A sign at the entry clearly states this place automatically closes and locks up at 10pm, so I made allowances to return, pay and leave so I don't get locked in. The station at the exit does not have any pay wave facilities and would not read my brand new bank card when inserted. So I park again and go looking for the nearest pay station which is at the opposite end of the car park!! I follow the signs, walk up stairs to ground level only to find THERE IS NO PAY STATION!!!! not only that but the door you come out of at ground level doesn't have a handle on the outside and YOU CANT GO BACK INTO THE STAIRWELL. Had to run back to my car and then spent 10 minutes on hold to try and get someone to let me out. Absolutely pathetic. Lucky the doors didn't shut down because that's wrong too. I could have stayed out longer!!

Is there anywhere at the entrance to the Cathedral Square car `` park in Brisbane City that indicates the exorbitant fees for parking ? I was only in the car park for 1.27 mins and expected to pay around $20 but was charged $52-00 + $1.30 surcharge ?? Really?? ... it would of been cheaper to park in the street and run the chance of getting a ticket... NOT HAPPY..will not use you again ....Thank God i live in the country and not in the City where you get robbed.

Searched all locations close to my new work. This is an easy location to get to, access is easy and the price was more than competitive. Parking spaces are easy to access also. Will check Monthly parking once I am secure in my new role.

Always always always issues at the gate. Early bird pins not working or gates not working.

Won’t be using this car park ever again. Thought I was doing the right thing by booking online. They say you can save $ that way, All was going well until I got home and received the following email. “ This email is to advise that you have exited the Cathedral Square Car Park outside of your booking conditions and have been charged an additional fee of $18.80 including GST.” Apparently I left 20 mins earlier than I had planned! It’s a car park! How can there be conditions On leaving early. I have pre- paid. Note, I never booked the early bird option. their website is a scam.
