Great selection of toys and extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff.
Such friendly and helpful staff and a huge selection of toys.
We have been a member for over 3 years and never knew this placed existed until I become a First Time Mom! Thank to the MCHN who introduce us to this place as part of our new mom's group.
Stonnington Toy Library is such a special place for my family. In fact everyone who I meet there is like family. Jane the manager is the most beautiful person you can meet and takes the time to recommend toys for your ever growing kids. Meghan and Lee are wonderful to chat and hang out with. I volunteer here quite regularly and we just love being here.
The library runs on volunteers and funds raising so join one (this one is the best ;) ) and contribute to the community and to the sustainable environmental practice by borrowing and not buying toys!
The toy library is such a great asset for Stonnington and our children. Great set of toys that you can borrow and return.
You don’t end up buying toys that your kids may not like/play with.
Great staff that recommend toys based on the child’s age etc.
Jane and the team at the Stonnington Toy Library provide such an amazing service, in particular for new parents, with great advice on helping kids with their next stage of development, and providing a loving 'family' style community to share in the joys of babies, toddlers and beyond. E.g. 'Do you have a puzzle for a kid who doesn't like puzzles?' was met with 'of course, we have a section for that....' :D
