Happy Crab Thai Takeaway

Only bought seafood fried rice on this visit but indicative of the quality, very fresh shellfish used, perfectly cooked. Great when there's such attention to detail for a basic dish.

Ordered food for four adults and two kids, specifically asked for no mushrooms in any dish. When we got back to where we were staying we found mushrooms in some of the dishes. Called up to complain, felt sorry for the young girl serving who told her boss, who rather than answering my complaint told her to go back on the call to point out that some of the dishes had no mushrooms in them because some of there dishes don't come with mushrooms anyway. Gave up on a resolution after this response won't be back. The food that I could eat was a nice but lacking seasoning.

The best Thai meal I’ve had outside Thailand and almost ever, all it needed was 2/motorbikes whizzing past and the smell of kerosene lamps. We went with a small group, including two children who had their meals brought out promptly as we had a selection of starters, all of which were perfect for taste temperature and texture, especially the Thai fishcakes which can be hard to reproduce authentically. With seven adults we had a selection of mains including crispy pork and Pad Thai which was so very good and wasn’t oily or greasy. With only one person in the kitchen and one person taking orders it was a treat to have all the dishes arrive at the same time At the correct temperature. The waiter was exceptional in his service. As the couple are the owner operators my hope is they will keep giving such great food and service when they get their well deserved Michelin star.

Great little place with amazing, authentic tasting Thai food. So clean and friendly staff! Highly recommend.

This was the most disgusting Thai restaurant I have ever been to. We were served partly frozen spring rolls which we sent back ... they then delivered back the same half chewed spring rolls that had been re deep fried...I couldn’t believe my eyes. We should have left then. Unfortunately we stayed for the stale rice, tasteless green chicken curry (which seemed to be missing the chicken) and fatty, precooked and then over deep fried crispy pork belly which was screaming run before I poison you...even the vegetables had bits of mould on them. We left after a couple of tragic mouthfuls. The poor servers were no more than 12-14 and did not seem surprised to be clearing full plates and the cook didn’t have the decency to show her face...but did have the audacity to charge us for the most appalling meal I have ever have... save yourself the food poisoning and eat somewhere (anywhere) else!!!!
