Senoji Japanese Restaurant

This place feels like you’ve entered a parallel universe. My partner and I came for dinner. The food was outstanding. The vibe and energy of this place is bizarre.... but in a good way. We waited an hour for food, others waited longer, but nobody was bothered. Well worth the wait.

Raw chicken. I ordered the karaage chicken and a side. The chicken was quite literally under cooked so much that it was pink and slimy, not to mention the softness of it on the outside. Not an exaggeration. And since when do wanton's come with a bento? It was literally a watery floury mess. Not happy.

Had dinner with a friend and we had a lovely time. Food was really tasty and there were some really interesting dishes including the cheese and avo samosas. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu. Staff were very friendly.

Food could be pricey but always good and the vibe is much like a Murakami’s novel, very calm and cozy restaurant.

It's such a lovely place I don't understand why no one goes in! It's a family owned business and the food is superb. Will definitely come back there for more ud83dudc4cud83dude0d
