We did a random drive into the Hills. Had a late lunch. My wife had Mediterranean tart with salad. Beautiful and tasty. I had dumplings in broth and fried. Didn't expect this in the Hills. Absolutely lovely.nThe place itself also has arts and crafts for sale.nGood comfortable seating. I'd be happy to go again.nWe're going to keep doing random driving and seeing what we get. This one was good. I hope the next one is as well.

Can't believe theses reviews cold food had to clean the table ourselves had to ask for a high chair for our son after standing there for 10mins basically seat yourself clean the table yourself followed by asking the waitress for table water could see we had a baby in our arms and was standing next to where the water is kept told us to get up and get it ourselves. I give a 2 start for the bacon was a nice smoked bacon the rest disappointed won't be back

good food. Considering the diverse range of cafes and stores in it's surroundings, Avalon of Woodside is always my preferred choice. The food range is quite large and very diverse and although at times there may be a wait, the wait is definitely worthwhile.nnSecondly, the staff are absolutely lovely and very accompanying for their customer's requirements. Extremely respectful and courteous staff.

Excellent food and especially the coffee... like today(rainy day) you must go there and enjoy Avalon’s coffee.
