Fortuna Chinese Restaurant

The chicken and corn soup very nice full of flavour. The chicken skewers well cooked the short soup the nice had for along time. The special fried rice had a strange taste the other main was ok. Friendly staff and clean location.

Lovely friendliness, super fun decor, and the food was very good. Was a reminiscent experience of the chinese restaurants we went to as a kid with our parents 30 years ago. Hopefully this place survives Scarboroughs upgrades so we get to keep some things that are interesting and vintage.

Honestly this is the most mediocre Chinese restaurant... The fried rice ok but too dry and not quite salty enough, the salt and pepper squid were clearly frozen (very chewy and bland) and the batter was too thick, fell off the squid and just tasted like MSG and finally the sizzling garlic beef was ok but nothing special. If you just want some quick, basic 'western' Chinese food then its ok but there are so many places that have much better food!

Nice food... I think I've only had one dish from there that I won't get again and I've had quite a few different ones...
