TarraWarra Estate Restaurant & Cellar Door

Emily and Nick married at this bloody marvellous intersection of architecture and all things culinary, which as a photographer was a DREAM to be a part of. Check out some of their wedding photos. Not only is the layout and arrangement of spaces incredible, but all the lines and finer details of the place make it really special for these two lovers of architecture. Thanks to the crew for looking after all of us and making it a ripper for these two, and I hope folks can party on like this out there soon.

Architecturally stunning, and the cellar door is an amazing atmosphere to taste wine. The wine is great, especially the South Block Chardonnay. The guys working behind the bar were fantastic and recommended some other spots for the rest of our weekend. Definitely instagram worthy if that’s the sort of thing that floats your boat.

It is a beautiful location. Nice restaurant and cellar door. I found the tasting process a bit odd, options of 4 whites or 4 reds, or you could choose a mix of red/white but only 2 wines on each option. The meal was enjoyable, well presented and attentive staff.

This restaurant at Tarrawarra is definitely a gem! The chef has a passion for sustainable and plant based cooking and the chef implemented local produce beautifully in the dishes. We had lunch there, 2 courses for $70 or 3 course for $80. Starters mushroom parfait and mountain pepper were both a very creative, well-presented, textured dish. My partner has kangaroo as main and he loved it. I had rainbow trout and i think it is not as outstanding as my starter. We enjoyed the wine too. The view outside the restaurant is also breathtaking, we chilled there a bit after lunch and there are bean bags. Do not miss the cellar door as well! Wine tasting is $10 per person, fee waived on bottle purchases.

Superb place for a day out. Wine tasting and cellar door sales, a substantial art gallery, restaurant, outdoor coffee platform with great atmosphere and amazing views.
