Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Vrućica. The temple measures 11.2x9.2 meters. The temple was built by masters from Maglaj, led by master Miloš from 1920 to 1923. The Bishop of Banja Luka, Vasilije Popović, consecrated the church on July 12, 1923. It was built on the initiative of the honorable old man Jefta Vukovic, as well as other volunteers from the First World War. Today, the ax used to cut the timber is in the possession of the church, because the master craftsman Miloš handed over the tools to Miloš Vidović from Donja Vrućica. The ax changed owners, and in 1954, Milija Pavlović handed it over to the priest for safekeeping. During World War II, the temple was ravaged by the Ustashas. The temple was renovated in 1976, inside and out, when electricity was introduced. It was rebuilt for the second time in 1988-1991. year, when the bell tower was added, then a new cross was erected, windows were changed, a new iconostasis and a new facade were erected. The icons from the old iconostasis were handed over to the Museum of the Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla, and date from the 1920s. The plywood iconostasis was erected in 1991. This iconostasis and icons were made by master Aleksandar Vasiljević from Doboj. The new iconostasis was erected in 2013, and was made by master Savo Živković from Gavrić near Doboj. The icons on the iconostasis were painted by Goran Pešić from Čačak ...
