We visited the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church which has Ninth these are nine Healing Stones as you leave the road. Both are recommended to visit if you are in the area of Devetina, in the District of Laktasi Bosnia Herzegovina. Different stones have different healing abilities use your intuition to decide which are best for you. A visit to this unusual beautiful Ukraine Greek Orthodox church service in a Catholic Denominational Church. The local Priest is young and friendly and very welcoming

They say that the stones give energy, elem and I came a little to charge the batteries. The area where the church is located is beautiful, the view "shoots" as far as the eye can see.

Ukrainian church with a church home. Every summer there is a summer school for children, where they have the opportunity to learn more about Ukrainian culture.

The parish of the Assumption of the Most Holy Mother of God Devetina was founded in 1900. Near the present church was the first church of this parish built in 1903, dedicated to the holy apostles Cyril and Methodius. After World War II it was removed due to major damage. The parish house in Devetina was built in 1924. The Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Mother of God was built in 1936/37. years. It is surrounded by an oak forest. The church was designed by the architect Stjepan Podhorski (Podhorsky) from Zagreb. The same draft was used during the construction of the church in Kozarac. The base of the church is cruciform, and the rectangular chancel spaces are slightly prominent on the façade planes. Above the cross-section of the arms of the cross rises a bulbous dome resting on a low octagonal tambour. The lower side wings, covered with a single-pitched roof, lean against the altar space. The rectangular portal is formed by a three-stage incision in the plane of the wall. Above the portal is a lunette within which are two arched windows between which is a niche of the same shape, and above the lunette is a relief relief. All window openings are arched except for the rectangular windows of the side altar wings. The only façade decorations are the crown crown of the tambour dome and the shallow angular creepers. After World War II, the church was rebuilt as it suffered significant damage.
