The original temple was built and rebuilt in 1882. Before the beginning of the First World War, the construction of a larger temple began, which first suffered significant damage, in order to be completely erased in 1941. The temple was rebuilt in 1991, and was again damaged due to the events that hit this area during the 1990s. Today we are able to visit the renovated temple, which, together with the Church of the Mother of God of Mary and the City Mosque, makes invaluable treasures of the Bosanska Krupa.
