A place that is special in many ways. Tame fields surrounded by stone and rubble ... Like a cove around which are four mountains. An oasis and base from which you can visit the surrounding places and tourist as well as spiritually interesting locations (Sources of the Sana, the Balkans, the Janjska Islands, the Medna Monastery) It is a special experience to learn about mushrooms directly in their habitat. The people who work in this center are professional, and yet they are not stiff but contribute to that kind of homely atmosphere with their behavior. The villagers are interesting and friendly people who do not mind chatting with you as visitors, they are proud of their village and happy to be able to tell you some interesting details. The first impression when I got out of the car and breathed the air in this place was fascinating. I don't know how much it has been studied, but I believe that the air in Pecka is healing. I recommend anyone who wants to breathe with full lungs and experience a real rural idyll and peace to visit this place. I was there for the first time a year ago, and I’m still as excited as I was then. I hope to be able to visit here more often.
