Dedicated to St George the Great Martyr, the church was built in 1886 as a sign of redemption for the Serbian people by the Austro-Hungarian authorities for the death of four young men innocently charged with the murder of Culin Captain. The first priest in this parish was Risto Maksimovic. In addition to the church, a parish house was built. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the church survived many storms and storms. The temple was demolished and rebuilt in 1920, 1945, 1976 and finally in 1999 when it was consecrated and inaugurated. Although rebuilt many times, it generally retained the same appearance.
