Caffe 105

Sarajevo doesn’t have many places from where you can enjoy the full view of the city, and those that do exist aren’t always easy to approach, but once you get there you’ll find your journey worthwhile. One of those places is certainly Caffe 105. Placed at Grdonj, one of the highest hills surrounding the city, Caffe 105 is a true oasis with a stunning view. It is outside of Mala Kula (Little tower) which is also a museum connected to the war that happened in the ’90s on the ground of B&H. To be honest, the place is still far from its final version but nevertheless you won’t be disappointed when you sum up all your impressions. The best time to come is before noon because later it gets too crowded with not a single free table. And once you’re surrounded with tall evergreen trees, free of city noise, and a fantastic landscape, you’ll understand what the fuss is all about. They don’t serve alcohol, only alcohol-free drinks and traditional Bosnian meals and cakes. The prices are really low, you can have a main meal for 4€, crazy right? Those who like hookah will be pleased to hear you can get yourself one as well. The only catch is that it’s a little harder to get here because of the narrow road, even though it’s just 4 km from the center. I highly recommend a cab, public bus Park-Barice (line 64) or a really good navigation and after that, the recharge at 700m can begin! By Aida Omanovic

Amazing place for sitting with friends and for having an amazing time.

The place is very nice, calm, the nature is beautiful. Park Barice is nearby (forest walks). DO NOT FOLLOW THE DEFAULT GOOGLE MAPS ROUTE! It leads to dead ends in the hills, go to Vidikovac Zmajevac and turn left there to Sedrenik and to Pašino brdo, straight to Park Barice and to Caffe 105.
