The Emperor's Bridge (Careva Cuprija) over the Miljacka River is from the 15th century and connects the Kasier Mosque with the old town. It has often been destroyed by floods and wars. The current bridge dates from 1897 from the time of the monarchy. Today it is a cultural heritage.
