The Church of the Most Holy Theotokos was built in 2004 when it was conquered by his priesthood, the bishop of Zvornik-Tuzla, Mr. Vasilije.
The construction of this church began in 2001 because the St. George church is located in the upper part of the village, and Vranjak occupies a wide geographical position of seven kilometers.
Thus, with the blessing of the then Bishop Vasili, another Orthodox Serbian beauty in Vranjek was erected, which with a discotheque, post office, outpatient clinic, sports grounds and a railway station makes a beautiful center.
The church was built up thanks to the financial resources of the Church of Vranjak, the locals themselves, Vranjakana from the Diaspora, the Municipality of Modriča, the Modriča oil refinery, the businessmen from Vranje and many other companies and sponsors.
Super tourist city, as well as religious
The Shrine of the Holy Virgin is a one-nave structure. The construction of the temple began on December 1, 2004, according to the project of the Astra Plan Bureau. The foundation was avenged on October 15, 2005 by the Bishop of Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla. The temple is built of small brick, measuring 26 x 14 meters, covered with copper, has five domes and a 48-meter high bell tower with one bell. The consecration of the temple was performed by Patriarch Irinej on October 9, 2011, with the services of the Bishop of Zvornik-Tuzla Vasili, the Joaniki of Budimlje-Nikšić and the vicar Bishop of Moravian Anthony.
Church art: The temple is not colorful. The iconostasis was made by Aleksandar Ninkovic from Modrica. The icons were painted by Nina Petkovic from Modrica.
Priesthood: The temple is served by the blue-eyed paros.
Sources and Literature: Statement of the Protestant-Stavrophore Pere Tancković of December 31, 2012; "Visit of Patriarch Irinej and consecration of the temple in Visnjik", Journal of the Bishops 'Bishops' Archbishopric, 2011.
The temple is located in a bruised settlement on a hill in Visnjik, where expelled Serbs from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina are settled. The temple is located on the old road Modrica-Doboj.
