This is one of rare roman villas left around this area and it's amazing that the foundation it was built on is still underneath it. Many original carvings and stones were found and implemented in it. The only thing is, it wasn't well maintained last decade or so, but someone needs to take care of that and invest some effort and time in it (money can probably be found in European Union fonds since it's protected by UNESCO). It's a shame that the restaurant placed there and horses aren't in best shape either. It has so much more potential!

It's an interesting historic place, it's hard to find a big site like this away from Italy. Sadly, it's not well preserved. There is a lot of garbage, the grass is not cut and benches are broken and not repaired. Then people don't have respect for the ruins and climb them like they were just a common wall.
