And perhaps it would be so, if over the centuries its difficult accessibility was not exactly its greatest defense and if in 1952 it was not declared a strictly protected nature reserve, as one of the last rainforest reserves in Europe. Rare are those who have had the opportunity to enjoy its wild and unbridled beauty ... Visiting only the lookout "Dragoš sedlo", where the view "shoots" on 13000 hectares of raw and pure nature, is an experience in itself, and only when in its vastness, deep in the abyss below you, you see a true picture of wild beauty and waterfall “, As in all its strength and power it inexorably crashes down an 80-meter steep and vertical rock, it is already a sight that takes your breath away and that definitely captivates. And the very thought of how phenomenal it would be to go down at that moment, under the waterfall itself, instantly awakens in you that long-forgotten conquest gene and the spirit of adventure, which we all still carry deep hidden in us. For all those brave and eager for true adventures, who have no fear of the unknown, and who are driven by their conquest drive through their lives, they have prepared such an arrangement. Going down to the heart of the jungle, and crowning your efforts with a single shower under the waterfall, while thousands of drops of ice-cold water fall like frost on your radiant face, is a truly and truly unforgettable experience for a lifetime. However, this arrangement is very strenuous and primarily demanding in terms of fitness, so we sincerely recommend it, not only to the brave, but primarily to the strong, and people ready for a full day and exhausting tour. The Perućica rainforest reserve is a strictly protected area and in accordance with these principles, when visiting the rainforest, one should behave in the same way, respecting and not desecrating all that Mother Nature has selflessly and generously given us.
