Bridge is great, due to the novel connection. Coming back from rafting it was overshadowed by Tara river canyon.

Wonderful and quite unique historical monument. Even better experience if you've read "The bridge over Drina" by Ivo Andrić. Don't hesitate to ask locals to tell you their (versions) of the story. However, as someone who has seen the bridge before its most recent renovation, I think the pavement should have been preserved in its traditional form (separate square stones).

Legendary bridge in the city of Višegrad over The Drina river with fabulous story! The biggest Serbian writer and Nobel Prize winner, Ivo Andrić wrote about this bridge and actually win this award for his book "Na Drini ćuprija" (On the Drina bridge). Everyone should be visit this pedestrian bridge to feel his energy, and find out more facts about history of this place.
