Saint Vasilije Ostroški is a great miracle worker whose miraculous deeds are known beyond the borders of the Serbian Orthodox Church. His holy body rests entirely in the Ostrog hermitage, not subject to the law of decay, for more than three hundred years. The church where the relics of the Saint of Ostrog lie is filled with a pleasant scent, which amazes every devotee. The fact that the body of this great saint is incorruptible is a phenomenon in itself, which we Christians call a miracle. This phenomenon can only be understood and explained by the holy life of the Saint of Ostrog. And the life of Saint Basil was truly a life in God, a life built according to Christ, in which everything and everything was Christ. An even greater miracle and proof of the sanctity of Saint Basil is the miraculous power of his incorruptible body. He, who in his earthly life looked more like an angel than a man, raised his spirit to the throne of God, and immortalized his body. This holy body was the temple of the Holy Spirit during his earthly life, and after parting with his godly soul, it became a treasury of God's grace. In our Serbian Church, God appointed Saint Basil as a special mission, as a helper and healer of all the unwilling and sick, who come and approach him with firm faith and love as a great miracle worker and God's benefactor. Even today, the hermitage of Ostrog, in which Saint Basil struggled and in which his holy relics rest, is a kind of Knight, a spa of healing, in which many: sick, lame, dry, convulsed and insane find the grace of God and from where they go home healthy and soul and body. I cannot count the various miracles that the Lord performed through him and that he performs and shows every day over everyone who comes and seeks help from the Lord through this great saint, the great benefactor of God, the great hierarch and teacher, the praying man, the ascetic, the zealous saint. of the Orthodox faith, Vasilije Ostroški, miraculously known throughout the universe ...
