This is a place for sorrow, cry and pray for innocent Orthodox Christians which are killed in one night in the February 1942.
Great
The most beautiful thing is the people in this temple, you feel awe when you see them as if you have walked among the angels
In Donji Drakulić, there is a "Memorial Church of the Holy Great Martyr George", which is dedicated to the Serbian victims of the Ustasha massacre on February 7, 1942.
The construction of the temple began in 1988, and was consecrated in 1989.
The Orthodox Church has been and remains to this day a persecuted Church, because where the Holy Spirit is, there is also persecution, and where there is Truth, there is also evil that eternally, but without success, tries to destroy it. In these 17 centuries, the Church has suffered and is suffering from unbelievers and infidels, but what hurts the most is the testimony of this place, that the Church, the People of God, suffers and will suffer from "false brothers", because all who call themselves Savior are not Christians . The Lord mentions the one and only thing: “I give you a new commandment: that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. " Only where there is love there is freedom. Only where there is love and freedom is there a God of love and the Church as a God-man community.
The principle of the existence of true Christians of all times is "God above all, and man above all" and the like "Christ above all and above all." All for Christ, Christ for nothing! For centuries, the Serbian people have written these principles not with ink but with blood and tears: For the honorable cross and golden freedom. And indeed, all Christian democracy comes down to those words. But as soon as the Serbian people set out on that honorable path, the Antichrist struck at him with countless swords and whips, outside and inside. The faithful of the Risen One knew that life without Christ is death, and death with Christ is life. "When a lie is buried," St. Paul will say. Nikolaj Zicki, "he doesn't get up anymore. But when the truth is buried, it is resurrected. That's right. The truth is alive in the grave, and free in chains, and in the dungeon of light, and pure in the mud. " That Truth is the Way to Life. Only God alone knows how many are alive among the dead and how many are dead among the living. The only count and the only price.
The holy martyrs are the inhabitants and preachers of the "culture of life." In their time, they annulled the "culture of death" - the culture of forgetting, forgetting God and forgetting oneself. They have shamed for all time the anti-Christ satanic idea and the slogan of false Christianity that the PURPOSE JUSTIFIES THE MEANS, as well as the renewed false idea of atheism: FREEDOM, EQUALITY, BROTHERHOOD, OR DEATH decades ago after their suffering glorified in Christ. At all times, they testify to the danger posed by the culture of death. It is manifested today in the modern culture of infanticide, family planning, and unnatural communities. A culture in which the deeds of man are valued more than the deeds of God, and the deeds of man are of greater value to tyrants than man as a person. This culture seems to be the fulfillment of the word of the Venerable that there will come a time when flowers will be odorless, food tasteless and people soulless.
They testify to us that a Christian is not born but happens, and we can only cry out to them in prayer: Holy and blessed and praiseworthy martyrs of Banja Luka, three-suffering lands of Hoe, Dracula and Shargov, pray before the holy throne of the Triune God that our forgetfulness is transformed into unforgettable, fear strong love, unbelief in faith, disfavor in almsgiving, absence in omnipresence, gossip in conversation, power in suffering, renunciation in affirmation of the holy name of Christ. Pray, holy saints of God, that the sickle of love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Hirst may cut off every evil passion in our hearts, as it once did when the ear of unripe ears, but ripe in spirit, was cut by the hand of the enemy of Life, and that the communion of faith in God and God the Father to our light as a furnace glowing with fire, and that the enlightenment of the mind for the good and useful to every God-fearing soul be warmed by the warmth of the joy of the Lord and God and the Comforter of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen the infirmities of our holy martyrs of God with the most holy and immaculate Virgin Mary, so that even though we may be unworthy, we may approach the Cup of truth and unimaginable glory and thus all become one Body in one Spirit, all in one truly incarnate and risen Son, with the All-Glorious Father and Spirit. God-giving to all ages and to the end of time.
Amen ...
