The Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah is located in the Prijedor settlement of Urija, at the intersection of Milan Vrhovec Street and Kozarska Street. It was built for ten years and was erected thanks to the contributions of the faithful and donations from businessmen and the city administration. The first godfather of the church was Mr. Marko Pavić, a former mayor with his family. The temple was consecrated in 2009 by Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka. The temple has two bell towers 50 m high and is the first temple of the Orthodox faith in this part of town where there are significant economic and social facilities of Prijedor.
