The oldest data on the Mokranjska parish date back to 1868.
The parish extends from Wet right to the east via Romanija, to the village of Dikalj, where it borders with the parish of the falcon, it borders the west with the suburb of Sarajevo, extends south to the village of Rakovac, where it borders with the parish parish, it borders on the north with a Nazi parish.
Mokranjska parish consists of the following villages: Hreša, Njemanica, Vučija Luka, Mrazovac, Brezovica, Bjelogorci, Rogušići, Gornje and Donje Sinjevo, Sumbulovac, Mokro, Romanija, Jelovci, Prutine, Podgradac, Kračule, Kadino Selo and Kostreš.
The construction of the Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos in Mokra began in 1928. The church was completed in 1933, when Metropolitan Petar (Zimonjic) reviled them.
Construction works were carried out by entrepreneur Ivan Pregelj from Sarajevo. Iconostasis and icons were made by Roman Petrovic, an academic painter from Sarajevo. During the Second World War, the temple was badly damaged.
The work on the temple was carried out in 1972 and 1985.
The Parish House was built in 1895. It was demolished by the communists in 1948.
Mokranjska parish has two more halls: in the place Vučija Luka dedicated to Sv. Panteleimon and Ravna Romanija dedicated to St. Nicholas. great-grandmother to Georgia.
So far, the following Mokranjski steams are known: Kosta Novaković 1868-1899; Đorđe Stajić 1899-1914; from 1914 to 1918, the parochia was served by the Sarajevo paroids: Ljubomir Nikolic, Luka Cupic, Milan Lalic and Simo Begovic, parochian Palais. Then the priests follow: Risto Eranovic 1919-1934; Rastislav Stajić 1934-1941. and 1945-1965.
By the death of the clergyman Rastislav Stajic until 1966 the parish was served by Vladimir Sokolovic, a parochian of Sarajevo. Then, Milorad Novakovic 1966-1973; Djordje Ilic 1973-1979; Milojko Drobnjak 1979. In 1994, the second Mocranjska parish was founded, which was set up for the parish Niko Mojsilovic.
